BOSTON A Massachusetts police officer who also owns a gun store, as well as his business partner, were charged Wednesday with violating federal firearms laws, federal prosecutors said.
Daniel Whitman, 36, a Tyngsborough officer who lives in Pelham, New Hampshire, and Bin Lu, 49, a Chinese national who lives in Westford, are charged with conspiracy to violate provisions of the National Firearms Act by making, possessing and failing to register short-barrelled rifles, as well as possessing a suppressor without proper registration, prosecutors said.
Whitman is the owner of Hitman Firearms LLC, and Lu is the store’s manager and an investor in the store, authorities said.
donald trump on the issues than we first thought, but regard to his fiduciary there and what he will be doing in the near term, that is completely up to the president to decide. after this week with regard to what happened with rob porter, i think that the best statement out of the white house was saying that they could have done things better the president was unhappy with that. go ahead, daniel. i think the it is very rare to see a person admitting they did something wrong. that is something you used to see in previous white houses. i know in the politico news room, our jaws dropped. and then help said oh, rob porter was fired and the official line up until then was that he stepped down and

control and force the vote from congress, if they wanted to object to the president in any way weakening russian sanctions. it is a check on congress to the executive branch, should the president at some point decide to weaken russian sanctions. so now the president is faced with the decision to give up some of his power to congress or veto this bill. it has nearly bipartisan support from top lawmakers in both parties on capitol hill. daniel, real quick, what can we expect on senate health care this week? so they re going to try to start debate tuesday on a possible bill but what i would expect is that motion will fail and they re going to have a tough decision to make in how long do they want to keep pursuing this issue when clearly there are not enough votes as some of the party leaders openly
