No school board races for Twin Lakes Area
The Twin Lakes Area will not see any contested school board races later this year.
The window to file to run for a school board seat coming up for election closed Monday, with many incumbents retaining their seats without drawing any opposition.
In the Mountain Home School District, school board members Lisa House and Daniel Smakal will retain their Position 1 and Position 3 seats, respectively, after neither drew an opponent.
Donald Marler will retain the Position 4 seat on the Cotter school board. In the Norfork School District, Darin Hughes will succeed Josh Davis for the school board s Position 3 seat after David did not seek re-election.
