The City of Victoria has approved the creation of two new community gardens one in Vic West and one in South Jubilee in recognition of Year of the Garden.
Tickets: By donation Why: Victoria Baroque will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a concert, Grand Concerti Grossi, streamed live Tuesday night from the Church of St. John the Divine. The celebration will include a tribute to local harpsichordist Michael Jarvis, a Victoria Baroque favourite who died suddenly on Christmas Day at the age of 62. Grand Concerti Grossi will showcase 11 musicians’ exceptional quality, with a program featuring music by Baroque masters Vivaldi, Telemann and Evaristo Dall’Abaco. The concert is free to view, but donations will be accepted.
