AWF interviewed two Zimbabwean community wildlife scouts who participated in a July 2023 course on basic ranger training and human rights-based conservation.
Through the SIDA-funded Utariri Program, AWF and partners will contribute to increased community conservation and sustainable use of natural resources in a transboundary biodiversity area.
Over the last four years, AWF's work with local conservation organizations, Zimparks, and communities has introduced sustainable farming practices and human-wildlife conflict mitigation measures.
