Generous donation received by Middleton s Cold Hands Warm Heart homelessness organisation Date published: 13 May 2021 Danny Goodier, one of the group s founders, with the donations from Tesco Middleton Cold Hands Warm Heart – a Middleton homelessness organisation – has received a generous donation of goods from the town’s Tesco store. Jamie Lilley, 32, and Daniel Goodier, 30, both of Middleton, set up Cold Hands Warm Hearts in the middle of winter, after hearing about the tragic death of a 25-year-old man who died when sleeping rough in Manchester city centre.   The organisation aims to make sure no rough sleepers or homeless in Manchester go hungry or without the essentials, and is in the process of becoming a registered charity.
