Pixabay BELLEVILLE  A motorist is suing the driver of a tractor trailer and his employer after suffering injuries in a collision on Interstate 64. Robert Whitford filed a complaint Jan. 8 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Marvin Roybal and RST Inc., alleging negligence.  According to his complaint, Whitford was driving his vehicle westbound on I-64 in the Caseyville Township on Feb. 8, 2019. He alleges Roybal, an employee of RST who was driving a tractor trailer, collided with his vehicle. He claims Roybal failed to stop or swerve the tractor trailer at the appearance of danger to try and avoid the collision.
