A district court judge in Douglas County denied an attempt by an 18-year-old murder suspect, who allegedly stabbed an Omaha woman 12 times, to have his confession thrown out.
A teen accused of sexually assaulting and fatally stabbing a 61-year-old Omaha woman now also faces a charge in a burglary that authorities say he committed in 2019.
Authorities say 18-year-old Daniel Dejaynes-Beaman was responsible for the Oct. 31 sexual assault and fatal stabbing of 61-year-old Jolene Harshbarger.
