Daniel Dubois returned to winning ways, as the promising Heavyweight claimed the vacant interim WBA title with a stunning second round knockout win over Romania’s Bogdan Dinu.
The bill was held in front of around 1000 fans at the International Centre in Telford, in the latest instalment of BT Sport’s Fight Night.
Dubois was coming off his first loss as a professional, a painful November 2020 stoppage reverse to domestic rival, Joe Joyce, where ‘DDD’ suffered a horrific eye injury, and ruled himself out of their contest in the dying embers of the tenth round due to the excruciating pain.
