Faced with yet another Covid surge, small business owners in San Francisco are defying the odds to open new shops and restaurants, writes Examiner reporter Melissa Hartman.
A spokesperson for the San Francisco Police said that while the owners reported the incident as a burglary, police found "no evidence of forced entry."
Owners of a new San Francisco restaurant said their grand opening will be delayed because thieves burglarized them over the weekend. Not only did they steal furniture and equipment, it appeared they hosted a large party.
Some burglars decided to throw a party in a soon-to-open restaurant in downtown San Francisco, and it appears they invited friends and hung around for a few hours, drinking whatever they could find and smoking weed.
