AUBURN Tyler Thibault had to leave Ararat’s Maine 12U Cal Ripken state tournament game on Monday early with a migraine.
After the team lost, Thibault didn’t wanted avoid a similar outcome in Tuesday’s matchup against Andy Valley.
With the game tied in the fifth inning, Thibault stepped into the batter’s box with two runners on. On the first pitch he saw, Thibault drove a fly ball over the right field fence at Auburn Suburban that gave Ararat a three-run lead that held up in a 5-2 victory over Andy Valley.

Since allegations started pouring in against Kevin Spacey in 2017, Los Angeles prosecutors have dealt with two alleged sexual assaults that date back to 1992.
In December 2018, Spacey was charged with felony and indecent assault in a bar in Nantucket, Massachusetts after it was alleged he sexually assaulted an 18-year-old man in 2016. Lawyers failed to torpedo the case.
Don Adams died on January 3. His funeral service is today (February 5).

About six years ago, you wrote an article about my father Don Adams, who retired after 56 years in his North Street, Romford, barber’s shop.
Sadly, Dad passed away on January 3, another victim of Covid-19. He was 85.
I would like to take this opportunity to let his former customers and friends know, that the funeral will be held at Chelmsford Crematorium at 1.30pm on Friday, February 5.
Due to current restrictions, we are only allowed 20 people in the chapel. There is access to live streaming of the service (obitus.com, username: Diwa8275, password: 898123)
He says speaking to parents with pupils at Rainham Village School and Newtons Primary, there have been a shorthand for devices at the two schools. The stock levels are just not there, he says. Maybe it s because of Brexit or coronavirus or both, but there just aren t enough devices.
Having worked in large tech companies in central London, managing IT projects, Daniel says he knows that lots of big corporates have lots of old laptops just rotting away and with his IT skills, he is willing to reboot them and update ready to be used for schoolwork.
He said: I can support parents with the IT side, but there s got to be more like me, who can help us.
