FARMINGDALE, NY New York State Police responded to 45 crashes the majority in Nassau County throughout the state s parkway system on Long Island during the snowstorm on Thursday.
The statistics were complied between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m., according to the troopers public information officer Daniel Ahlgrim. He described the crashes as minor in nature, without any serious injuries.
A breakdown of the statistics with the number of crashes on the state s parkways systems for both Nassau and Suffolk counties was not immediately available.
