In his State of the Commonwealth address, Gov. Charlie Baker took the opportunity to highlight the silver linings that came about amid the coronavirus pandemic. A restaurant owner offering meals to those in need; a woman who achieved her dream of donning a white coat; and a community coming together to salvage a wedding for a serviceman.
“Wedding photographers, planners and a facility operator volunteered to put together a wedding for an Army sergeant from Chicopee and his fiancée after their plans were upended by COVID,” Baker said Tuesday in his prepared remarks.
