Natural Resources Minister Seamus O’Regan has a new communications lead in the house.
Dani Keenan began her new position as O’Regan’s director of communications on Monday, replacing Carlene Variyan, who signed off last month to join returning minister Jim Carr’s new team. Keenan spent the past year as director of communications and issues management for Diversity, Inclusion and Youth Minister Bardish Chagger. Chagger’s office has not yet filled this role.

Keenan announced her new job with LinkedIn and Twitter posts on International Women’s Day, giving thanks to “[three] incredible women” she’s worked for in the past, including Chagger and her cabinet colleague Karina Gould, as well as Christina Topp, former senior director of fundraising for the Liberal Party.
