The Maharashtra government has authorized the MHADA to undertake redevelopment of dilapidated cessed buildings in Mumbai if the society and owner fail to appoint a developer within six months. MHADA has also been authorized to take over redevelopment projects that have been delayed for more than two to three years. This move aims to resolve the issue of redevelopment of dangerous cessed buildings and delayed redevelopment of cessed buildings in the city. | Mumbai news
