Funding remains available for projects aimed at furthering understanding of civil discourse, free speech and personal responsibility through Washington University in St. Louis’ Frick Initiative.
WashU’s 86,500-square-foot McKelvey Hall project was supported with products and services from Tubelite Inc., Wausau Window and Wall Systems, Viracon and Linetec.
Last year, student-run emergency medicine organization EST responded to 400 calls at Washington University in St. Louis, ranging from cuts to anaphylaxis to chest pain to panic attacks. The group’s 70 members also provide coverage crews for high-contact club sports, staff vaccine clinics and offer CPR training.
The Washington University in St. Louis community is encouraged to donate to, and volunteer with, the 2023 United Way of Greater St. Louis annual campaign. Launching this week, the campaign will raise funds to support over 160 local nonprofits and more than 1 million people in the 16-county region.
