Among them is Edward Stanton, a former house master at the infamous St Vincent s care home in Formby.
The ECHO has previously reported how dozens of children s lives were destroyed by paedophiles who worked at St Vincent s where Stanton abused and raped boys during the 1980s.
He was jailed in 1996 for 13 years but got hauled back into court after another brave victim came forward, telling of how he would sleep outside so he could escape the hellish care home and Stanton s abuse.

Maurice Button as jailed for 13 years and six weeks by Judge David Evans, who told him that his offences would now be classified as child rape.
A woman from Liverpool who was raped by a hotel worker during a seaside holiday when she was a child wept with relief after he was finally brought to justice over 40 years later.
Maurice Button was working as a pool attendant and handyman at the hotel in Torquay when he groomed the naïve schoolgirl and had sex with her in a toilet and an outhouse.
