SMALL-CAP - WINNERS
Carclo PLC, up 11% at 39.40 pence, 12-month range 3.05p-40.8p. Hits this 12-month high earlier on Tuesday. The firm, focused on engineering for medical, optical and aerospace industries, performs solidly in recently-ended financial year. Expects to have maintained CTP division total revenue at broadly similar levels to last year, reduced net debt excluding lease liabilities, and delivered an overall post-tax profit. Momentum built steadily in the second half of the year with a successful focus on winning new business, operational execution and cash generation, company says.

Naked Wines PLC - Norwich, Norfolk-based online wine retailer - Hires Darryl Rawlings as independent non-executive director with plans for Rawlings to succeed Ian Harding as chair at the company s annual general meeting in August. Naked Wines had previously said Harding would retire in the summer after serving on the board for eight years. Rawlings is founder and chief executive officer of Trupanion Inc, a Seattle-based company that provides medical insurance for cats and dogs in the US and Canada. Naked Wines says Rawlings experience in building a direct-to-consumer business will help in its own expansion.
