Were told this was an 8 inch underground main that ruptured a little after 2 00. No word on how this break impacted the neighborhood. The Water Department crews have since left. They will need to come back later to make repairs. Oft often, there are subsequentc lines around the area that can keep water flowing to homes and businesses in the event of a break. We havent heard much from home owners who have yet to wake up to see this mess outside their front door. The entire intersection was shut down for while a while.
