Smiths Detection s BioFlash shown to detect airborne COVID-19 Smiths Detection, a global leader in threat detection and security screening technologies, today reports that its BioFlash Biological Identifier is capable of detecting SARS-CoV-2 in the air following tests conducted by the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID).
