A Louisiana Nazi sympathizer has been sentenced to life in prison starting August 26, for hunting and killing Black people in 2017.
Kenneth Gleason was found guilty of first-degree murder on April 26 for carrying out a four-day killing spree which resulted in two Black men dead, The Advocate reported.
The 27-year-old Baton Rouge dishwasher’s “reign of terror,” as prosecutors called it, first took aim at the home of a Black family on September 11, 2017.
It is was reported that he searched “aggravated assault on property” on the internet after shooting up the house, Special Agent Jeff Methvin testified last Wednesday said.

AmpSurf, a local nonprofit that works with people with disabilities and their families by integrating adaptive surf therapy, is teaming up with the Women s Veterans Surf Project for a surf clinic.
Over the course of the weekend, the nine women who are either active military or veterans will use ocean therapy to work through various traumas, such as sexual assault, domestic violence, and combat-related trauma. Participants who spoke with KSBY say this program has been a beneficial and therapeutic way to address those traumas they experienced while in the military.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A Baton Rouge jury found Kenneth Gleason guilty of first-degree murder on Monday, April 26.
Gleason was on trial for first-degree murder for the two killings of Bruce Cofield and Donald Smart, both of whom are black. Race played a key role in this case as prosecutor Dana Cummings said Gleason was “hunting black men” during his five-day “reign of terror” in Baton Rouge back in September of 2017.
The conviction carries a mandatory life sentence.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The jury has found Kenneth Gleason guilty of first degree murder on Monday night.
Gleason was on trial for first degree murder for the two killings of Bruce Cofield and Donald Smart, both of whom are black. Race played a key role in this case as prosecutor Dana Cummings said Gleason was “hunting black men” during his five day “reign of terror” in Baton Rouge back in September of 2017.
Gleason is facing a life sentence for the 2017 murder of Donald Smart. He s accused in two other shootings, one resulting in the death of Bruce Cofield.
Prosecutor Dana Cummings said in her closing statements that Gleason treated the shootings like he was hunting human beings random black men specifically.
The state’s evidence against Gleason consists of phone records placing him in the area of all three shootings, video evidence of him altering the appearance of his car which was seen at all three shootings and DNA found on shell casings.
His defense tried to cast doubt that Gleason was the shooter by refuting the car ID’s and trying to poke holes in the state’s DNA analysis. Earlier in the trial, their star witness claimed Gleason was not the man he saw behind the gun.
