Jefferson City man files motion to withdraw guilty plea in child porn case

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Jefferson City man that pleaded guilty in federal court to possession of child pornography on July 9, 2020 has filed a motion to remove his plea.
Dana Cline, 52, originally agreed to plead guilty to a single count of possession of child pornography after his arrest in 2018. Prosecutors originally filed three charges against Cline.
Cline filed his motion to withdraw his plea on April 28, 2021.
Cline s attorney, Daniel Hunt, wrote that Cline was not given adequate time to read and understand his plea and he was given three medications that hindered his ability to knowingly and intelligently enter a plea of guilty in this case.
