A proposed housing development of about 25 duplexes is poised to move forward after the Lewiston City Council approved vacating an undeveloped section of Bryden Avenue right of way.

A housing development with 58 dwellings called Cottages at the Aquatic Center is under construction in Clarkston. The development has three kinds of units. Most of the units (38) are 600 square feet with two bedrooms and one bathroom. They rent for $1,100 per month. Ten are 400 square feet with one bedroom and one bathroom, with rents of $800 per month. The remainder are 1,064-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bathroom units that rent for $1,350 per month.
