Dan Withey‘s new body of work
Kindness is a Boomerang depicts his signature multifaceted characters, amusing in their eccentric humanity. He continues his investigation of abstract and figurative storytelling, through anthropomorphic playful forms such as birds, rainbows and architecture.
The bright, eccentric paintings have a rich visual language, informed by his illustration background. Along with Withey, we find our way through the vacillating absurdities of life. His works aim to foster kindness, or at least the simple attempt “not to be a dick” in a world of polarity and judgement.
