Liberty Ballers drafts the top 100 NBA players for 2020-21

In the summer of 2019, Liberty Ballers drafted ten teams of five players to come up with the top 50 players in the NBA for the upcoming 2019-20 season. While all top-50 lists are arbitrary, by having writers draft players they want on their teams, we hoped to give more context to the issue of ranking star players on bad teams versus elite role players. We also acknowledged drawbacks to this method, most significantly the fact that teams’ previous picks influence later suggestions. Still, it was a unique look at the league’s top players.
