Two local businessmen are hoping to demolish a boarded-up west-end eyesore they recently purchased and build a replica of the charming old home it used to be, based on a 1958 photo.
It’s the first time such a proposal has been made to city hall for one of the many vacant and derelict homes most owned by the Ambassador Bridge that have caused massive neighbourhood-damaging blight.
