a sexual assault in a community for seniors has frightened neighbors. and it has police taking a second look at an old case. good evening. i m jim vance. and i m doreen gentzler. this weekend s assault in germantown happened across the street from a similar crime that happened just two months ago. now people who live in and around the churchill scene wonder if the same person s responsible for both attacks. derrick ward joins us with more on the story. derrick? reporter: well, doreen, we want to stress police here have not made a positive connection between the two attacks, but they are considering it. what we do know, however, the time and life when most of us hope to be relaxing and enjoying retirement, a resident of this independent living facility here in germantown is covering from the emotional and physical trauma of a sexual assault. it was 4:15 saturday morning. the victim, an 86-year-old resident of the churchill senior living center, was asleep in her bed. unk
