As a senior citizen from Florida for 31 years, I remember when our voting process was the laughing stock of the nation. I remember seeing a gaggle of people trying to determine whether those âhanging chadsâ were for a Democrat, a Republican or Mickey Mouse! I remember the âbutterfly ballotâ that confused way too many voters. We sure donât need to bring the voting circus back to Florida, but it seems the ringmasters in Tallahassee want to put that banana peel under the foot of the Florida voter as they try to go to the ballot box. It seems that for some Republican leaders having a sane, workable ballot and mail-in process was too much, and now they feel they have to rework it to

Serve and protect us, huh?
$600 stimulus checks are a complete joke, especially since there was only one other check previously. Republicans need to get their head on right and recognize that this country is struggling. We should have had at least $600 checks every month this year. How is it that the Pentagon can spend $2 billion a day, and other countries have provided citizens with up to 80 percent of their salary for support, but this country canât find any sort of empathy for the situation that this administration has completely exacerbated to help us out more than $600?
