Pawleys Island could be getting some funding for beach restoration.
According to Pawleys Island Mayor Brian Henry, the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism will be requesting $7 million in non-recurring funding in the 2024-25 fiscal year budget for areas that need beach renourishment.
