They came from all over the country to ride for freedom. This ride attributes to prisoners of war and missing warriors. Riders are speaking out for those who arrive back home and using medical care. These people put their lives on the country. It is important to bring all of our veterans home. These are heros who died for our right to be free. reporter: dan lasko gives a new meaning to legging one out. the marine lost his leg ten years ago while deployed in afghanistan. my vehicle struck an i.e.d. like his teammates, this wounded warrior from bethlehem, pennsylvania, never lost his desire to compete. i was running my first four miler four months after getting my prosthetic. to a grand entrance of patriotism that included a veteran parachuting on to the diamond, the wounded warrior amputee softball team took the field against local fire departments on this memorial day weekend. general manager and army veteran david van sleet started the team three and a half years ago. he is not an amputee but worked with prosthetics while at the department of veterans affairs. playing softball is almost an front. we re trying to educate the public about people with prosthetics and what they can do and guys that return
