Great is ahe candidate. Napoleon is a candidate. Figures, current obviously, in history. Somebody werson is remember as a glamorous figure. Some ways, ington in and, of course, in recent history, more recent history, president kennedy is somebody associated with glamour. Kennedyould president be associated with glamour and someone like Ronald Reagan would not . I think Ronald Reagan was. Somebody who was both glamorous and charismatic, which is fairly unusual in a politician, but the main reason he was not as glamorous as president kennedy is that he did not die. He took an assassins bullet. It is part of what makes kennedy so glamorous, that we remember him as his life cut short and the potential that could have been, so he was glamorous in his day, because he represented guy, a naval war hero, and he had a wife, and he also indren, but memory, he can take on whatever views you want, and i wrote about this. The assassination. Have people who are hawkish neoconservatives who say if kenne
But back in adjustments that can be made over the twoyear process. We already know how bad the process is from the shutdown that occurred. We have not had a budget in the United States senate until this last agreement in december. But on the appropriations side, the 12 appropriations, we havent had 12 appropriations passed before the fiscal year of october 1 since 1996, which was under senator trent lotts leadership. And only 13 appropriation bills have passed since 2001. Only 13 total, not in one year but total. Just to give you the degree to which this current process has failed. So it would add significantly to improving it and getting them on a course of evaluating federal programs. So what are the odds of a twoyear budget process . I think they are very good, and we have an example. The murrayryan is a twoyear budget. We have actually done it. And lets see what happens in this twoyear period. Do you take this as a green shoot of spring that they were able in december to reach a bu

Were not told anything until the aircraft landed and were told about the crash because of the cell phones and they had news briefs and flashes and things like that. They wanted to call people to tell them they had a change in plans but the reality of the situation is that the pilots were coal about it. We have a sig or something but not being real pacific about that because the last thing you want to do is cause more panic on another airline because you want to make sure anything else was going on and that was the protocol. Tom, you know what i find interesting, it is not as though sso has a tricky runway configuration. You have all of the clear skies and winds 7 Miles Per Hour and assuming there was no sudden down burst, it is hard to figure what happened, how you could misland on the airport. That is the question and your first thought is to go to the concept of pilot error because in many of these cases it turns out to be exactly that. But you got a very complicated piece of equipme
