TROY A city man was arrested Saturday night after police said he drove down a closed-off street while drunk and crashed into a parked police car, said Troy police Captain Dan DeWolf.
The police car belonged to a patrol officer who was working on the snow emergency detail, and it had significant damage. The arrested man ignored the road closure, passed bucket loaders and Department of Public Works trucks, blasted through a large mound of snow and rear-ended the police car.
