Athalie Smith suffered a host of life-threatening injuries after a major car crash last winter. This week, she went to her high school prom. Her mother says she wouldn't be where she is now if it weren't for a pilot program at the the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax.

Chiefs Charity Game
Sunday s game will mark the 36th annual Chiefs Charity Game. Since its inception in 1985, and through the vision of Lamar Hunt and the Hunt Family, the Chiefs Charity Game has raised more than $14.2 million for local charities that support local children in need. Over the past two years, the Chiefs Charity Game has raised more than $1.1 million to help keep children safe and families together through Cornerstones of Care. This is the final year of a three-year relationship with Cornerstones of Care as the beneficiary of t
