Freezing rain and rain started in the area last night and quickly iced up roads. The wintry mix then changed to snow and roads deteriorated rapidly. Temperatures started out in the middle 30s, but have been falling steadily as northwest winds kicked in.
Winter Weather Advisory until midnight…
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until midnight. Snow will be ending early this evening, but northwesterly winds gusting to 40 mph will mean blowing snow. Roads will remain slippery and snow covered, especially in rural areas.
Tomorrow Forecast looks pleasant with southerly winds.
