The Maine Memory Network section of the Maine Historical Society’s site is rich with virtual exhibits that you can spend hours looking at. In recognition of Black History Month, take the time to explore photography exhibit “A Convenient Soldier: The Black Guards of Maine.” You’ll see several compelling images as you learn about the African American Army soldiers assigned to guard Maine’s railways during World War II. The latest installment of the Strand Theatre’s original radio variety show series can be heard by tuning in to WRFR at 93.3 in Rockland, 99.3 in Camden, or by streaming at WRFR.org. Shows are then made available to stream on the Strand Theatre website at RocklandStrand.com, and as a podcast.

ROCKLAND The Strand Theatre presents the next installment of their original radio variety show series with the “Good Riddance to 2020” Edition on Sunday, Dec. 27, at 5 p.m.
