you. wow. the icy weather in kansas city is being blamed for a pretty nasty accident involving a fire truck and a school bus. that bus was on the way to school when it slid on the slick streets straight into a utility pole and then the fire truck responding to the crash slid into the bus. two kids on that bus did suffer some minor injuries but everyone else is okay. wow. president obama has hit another major setback in his health occasion overhaul. a federal judge in florida ruled monday that the entire law is unconstitutional. florida is now the 26th state to challenge legislation. karen travers has details from washington. good morning, karen. reporter: good morning. this decision has republicans and tea party activists very happy. but the white house is poking holes in the judge s arguments. this is a blow to the obama administration. the federal judge in florida has ruled the health care reform law signed by president obama last march is unconstitutional. 26 s
sports topics in that town, so unfortunately, they were not able to pull it up to the par of playing against the miami heat. but still, it was an interesting environment. interesting to see him talking to his old teammates, too. it was strange. we ll get into that in just a bit. good morning, everyone. i m mike marusarz in for rob nelson. and i m vinita nair. some positive news for unemployed americans when the latest jobs report comes out later this morning. it s expected to show that employers added more jobs for the second straight month. and our business analyst dan arnall says it s not just big business doing all the hiring. one area that economists like to focus on is how much are small businesses hiring. that tends to be an area of the economy that s a real canary in the coal mine. if small businesses are confident enough to add workers to their payrolls it tends to be a good sign for future hiring, there s an expectation that small businesses will actually be adding
there are of course the seasonal jobs. retailers have added more people to deal with better than expected sales. and a weak dollar has meant a ramp-up in jobs related to american exports. even if the report is better than expected, economists say the problem of unemployment is not going away anytime soon. expectations are that the nation s unemployment rate will remain above 9% until at least 2012. dan arnall, abc news, new york. the war of words over a tax cut is heading into the weekend. the senate was all set to vote on a compromise measure today but a republican objection pushed that to saturday. the compromise deal would extend bush-era tax cuts only for those earning less than $200,000 a year. but republicans want all tax cuts to be extended so the deal looks to be dead on arrival. new york congressman charles rangel admitted he made mistakes after he was officially censured by the house on thursday. rangel stood on the house as speaker nancy pelosi read the censure measure t
