“All educators deserve to be highlighted and celebrated for the tireless, phenomenal work they do each day,” said Briana Morales, an East St. Louis educator who was 2023 Illinois Teacher of the Year.
“The inspiration for all of this was my student, Da’Miya Brown, who was the most amazing young girl that I ever met,” said the 2023 Illinois Teacher of the Year.
