A Lafayette Parish grand jury on Wednesday handed up three indictments in the September shooting that left a man dead.
Damien George, 18, died after being shot at a location in the 800 block of North University. He had been shot several times in the chest, and police provided a surveillance photo of the suspect in the shooting. A few days later, police arrested a 17-year-old male and booked him with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting, but did not release his name. Not long after that, two other men were booked with principal to second-degree murder in the case.
