HILLSDALE COUNTY, MI – A man who pleaded guilty to supplying a fatal drug overdose to a U.S. veteran has been sentenced to prison.
Damiane Buehrer, 43, pleaded guilty July 31 in U.S. District Court in Kalamazoo to one felony count of distribution of a controlled substance, carfentanil, causing death. Buehrer, of North Adams, was sentenced Dec. 7 by U.S. District Court Judge Paul Maloney to 30 years in prison.
