For a musician as young as Dameer Khan, emotionally charged love ballads might be commonplace. However, it is the execution where the talented artiste proves why he is deemed as the future of the Bangladeshi music industry, in his latest EP – For We Are Distant .
The EP contains 7 songs, each of which have their own twist on their indie-pop influences. I started writing some of these songs when I was 17, so it was a huge sigh of relief when I was finally able to release them, says Dameer. I am really enjoying the feedback that I have received.

At an age where most youths are just starting to discover their passions, 20-year-old Dameer Khan has been busy making headlines for his artistic craft. At age 17, Bangladesh-born Dameer was signed by Majestic Casual Records, a prominent Berlin-based music label in the indie music scene.
Coming from a family of musicians, Dameer is looking to make his own mark in the world with fresh and unconventional music.
