The incident happened on Monday night when Igboho stormed the troubled area in Yewaland.
However, the spokesman of the Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, yesterday told newsmen in Abeokuta that three suspects have been arrested in connection with the crime.
Oyeyemi also disclosed that there have been attacks in the past three days on herdsmen settlements in Yewaland.
According to him, the settlements affected have been in existence in the area for many years, in some cases for over 20 years, and inhabited mainly by Nigerian herdsmen of Fulani extraction, some of whom he said were born and brought up in the area, and speak the Yoruba language with proverbs fluently.

THE Defence Headquarters has said that 64 insurgents were killed in Yobe State in one week during an encounter with troops.
The DHQ spokesman, Maj. Gen. John Enenche, disclosed that the criminal elements met their waterloo at Gujba Local Government Area of the state and Gonan Kaji village along Damaturu-Buni Yadi road during fire fights with the troops.
Addressing defence correspondents in Abuja on Thursday on the nationwide security operations from January 7-13, 2020, Enenche said firearms, ammunition and 10 gun trucks were also recovered from the terrorists.
He stated, “During the encounter with the troops of Operation Tura Takai Bango at Gujba on January 9, 28 terrorists were neutralised and several others escaped with gunshot wounds, while one gun truck and several arms and ammunition were recovered.
The felled soldiers, who were involved in counterinsurgency operations in the Northeast were ambushed Saturday evening by operatives of the jihadist group along Damaturu-Buni Yadi road in Yobe State, our sources said.

For the umpteenth time, terrorist group, Boko Haram laid siege on the notorious Damaturu Buni Yadi road in Maiduguri for an ambush but this time, it was on the military troops of the Nigerian army.
Many soldiers got killed in the assault which occurred on Saturday January 9th 2021 at about 1700hrs.
The soldiers were obviously on duty preparing to launch an onslaught on the terrorist group.
This isn’t the first time that the terrorist group will launch an ambush on Nigerian troops.
In March of 2020, Boko Haram extremists killed at least 50 Nigerian soldiers in an ambush near Goneri village in northern Yobe state. The ambush happened as the military tried to launch an offensive against the terrorist group. The soldiers were initially able to fight back and escape and then launched another offensive a day later. But the troops got attacked from the rear at a place near the village of Goneri called the Gorge.
