અમેરિકન અંતરિક્ષ એજન્સી NASAએ એક વિશાળ એસ્ટરોઇડ તોફાની રફતારથી ધરતીની કક્ષમાં આવી રહ્યો છે. આ એસ્ટરોઇડ 20 મીટર પહોળો છે અને 8 કિમી પ્રતિ સેકન્ડની રફતારથી ધરતીની પાસેથી પસાર થશે. આ એસ્ટરોઇડનું નામ ‘2008 GO20’ છે. કહેવાય છે કે આગામી 25મી જુલાઇના રોજ આ વિશાળ એસ્ટરોઇડ ધરતીની કક્ષાની પાસેથી પસાર થશે.
