Dallas Ly is on trial in Toronto for allegedly murdering his mother, Thanh "Tien" Ly in March 2022. Her decapitated body was found in garbage bags in the city's east end.
Dallas Ly sat quietly Monday as assistant Crown attorney Jay Spare told the jury that it is an admitted fact that Ly stabbed Thanh "Tien" Ly and caused her death.
