because she is known to be involved in high-profile political cases and even anti-violence campaigns? right. you know, and that s the difficult part of this case. you know, we covered extensively a couple of years ago outside of the dallas-ft. worth area, a d.a. and another prosecutor shot and killed by someone who had been a disgruntled person involved in past cases and past work, as well. and we know from those situations that one of the things that investigators had to do was pore over extensively all over the criminal cases or any kind of cases that this judge had been involved in to figure out if anyone might have had a motive to carry out an attack like this. and also figure out whether or not it happened to be a random but, obviously, at this point, it doesn t sound like investigators are ruling out
17 children, 17 crew members. we re trying to get confirmation from russian authorities to know whether the plane has crashed, where it is. with know that the airbus has left contact with russian authorities, with egyptian dallas-ft. worths. nbc has confirmed it s no longer being seen on the radar. we do know in the area it was 11:00 a.m. saturday morning, the sun is out. soon we should have news as to whether the plane has been found, any remnants or anything. again, just confirming a plane bound for st. petersburg, russia, has been lost from airspace. it s hard to find time to keep up on my shows.
thank you, joe, from ixtapa. and now the dallas where some areas got more than 18 inches of rain. we go the charles hadlock who is right there with you, and wow! look at the flooding. where are you, charles someis well, you have actually been here before. this is the edge of the trinity river just as it passes downtown dallas. normally the river banks are e beyond the trees and the bank full is at 30 feet, and the today, 35, and it is expected to climb to 37 feet later today. the good news is that the weather front causing all of this creating the lift that dropped the rainfall here is now past the dallas-ft. worth area, but the bad news is that it is not out of the state which is the concern. all of the rainfall was created by a system not associated with hurricane patricia but a low pressure system and as it makes its way out of the state of texas, the remnants of patricia come into the state, and the question is how much interaction
