Which Local “MAGA Celebs” Were in Washington Last Wednesday?
I had to think long and hard about whether to write this article or not. I’m not concerned in the least that this is somehow unfair to the people highlighted. All of this is from their own social media. They’re PROUD that they were there. Most of them are encouraging more of the same.
The ONLY thing that gives me a moment’s pause is this: am I being irresponsible by amplifying their misguided views? To be as clear as I can be, the belief that the 2020 election was “stolen” from Donald Trump has no basis in fact. Courts have rejected it over 60 times. The President’s own Attorney General (now FORMER Attorney General) emphatically stated that the DOJ found no evidence. Congress has now certified it. As wrong as these people are, as long as they didn’t break the law, they were within their rights to be there. Some of them know it’s a lie. Some of them sincerely believe the lie. But all of them are public
