Party for the Pottys | Buffalo Reflex

A celebration party with the Community Foundation of the Ozarks and Coover Charitable Foundation, along with Aldermen, Dallas County Community Foundation members, city officials, YMCA and Brandi Maddux, softball volunteer, was held on Monday. The city of Buffalo won a grant last year from the Coover Charitable Foundation to improve the bathrooms at the Dallas County Community Park. Park users enjoyed a working bathroom, high-profile toilets and changing tables during the year. The clean, functional bathrooms may seem like a minor accomplishment. However, the improvement sent many out-of-town guests and locals home without complaints about the facilities serving 100s of families.

Philanthropy starts with establishing a fund

The Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO) offers a variety of charitable funds to help individuals and families accomplish their philanthropic goals. There are many different types of funds to fit your giving vision. Recently, Ashley Silva, from CFO, spoke to the Buffalo Rotary Club about funds they have in the Dallas County Community Foundation and discussed the different types of funds.
