Oklahoma composer Kitt Wakeley tops classical charts with new album
Oklahoma composer, producer and musician Kitt Wakeley has reason to celebrate as his new album, “Symphony of Sinners and Saints,” has hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Classical and Classical Crossover charts.
The album, which was released on May 21, features three singles that also hit No. 1 on Billboard s Hard Rock Digital Song Sales charts. Symphony of Sinners and Saints is Wakeley s follow-up to his well-received 2018 album Midnight in Macedonia. For his new orchestral rock collection, Wakeley collaborated with guitar legend Joe Satriani, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Dallas All Star Choir. He recorded the album at Abbey Road Studios in London and celebrated the release with a home-state release show last month at the Civic Center Music Hall.

His Mavericks team trying to hang onto their double-digit lead against the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 5 of their Western Conference first-round series and the fourth quarter beginning to tick down.
