COVID-19 has taken the lives of more than 15,000 people in Illinois, including about 6,200 from the suburbs. We’re sharing the stories of some of those we’ve lost.
Naperville s Loaves and Fishes charity pantry lost a dedicated duo in the spring when Diane and Dalis Ramonas died of complications of COVID-19.
Diane Ramonas, 61, was the organization s community relations manager for five years, and Dalis, 63, was a volunteer. The couple, who married in 1984, raised their family in Naperville and had recently moved to Aurora.
