Suit alleges negligent care at Baylor St Luke s led to patent s death

Pixabay HOUSTON Baylor St. Luke s is facing a suit alleging their negligent medical care led to a patient s death from aspiration pneumonia.  Erik Mirrow, individually as heir of Seymour Morris Mirrow and as executive of the Estate of Seymour Morris Mirrow, filed a complaint Feb. 12 in Harris County District Court against Chi St. Luke s Health Baylor College of Medicine Medical Center doing business as Baylor St. Luke s Medical Center alleging negligence.  Seymour Mirrow was admitted to Baylor St. Luke s on Nov. 23, 2018, to be treated for dehydration, according to the plaintiff s complaint. The plaintiff alleges that during Seymour Mirrow s eight day stay at Baylor, a foreign/fluid substance got into his lungs and claims the substance was something the hospital staff provided for his nutrition or medication.
