Be willing to show you care about others
“For the good of society” as a foundation of altruism has fallen on hard times. The number of people who not only refuse to get vaccinated but also insist on their right to interact in the community is extraordinary.
It is the latter that makes proof of vaccination essential. “I won’t vaccinate but I will knowingly spread the virus.” We don’t know these people in the general public undoing all the hard work being done by the rest of society.
Proof of vaccination is proof that you care about the rest of the community. It can put clerks, waitstaff and other workers at ease. It can tell the people at the next table or airline seat that you are OK and they are OK and we are all OK together.
