According to duke energy, more than 24,000 people are without power in the carolinas. You can see the number here in Western North carolina. That number has dropped from 1700 in the last hour. In swain county, less than 200 here in the upstate, less than 700 total. Most are in greenwood county. Troopers are investigating two deadly wrecks impacted by conditions. A man, standing on the side of interstate 385, was forced over a concrete retaining wall and down an embankment. 28yearold clayborn dallas jester was standing at the site of a previous crash when he was forced over the wall.
